Structural Biology & Biophysical Screening by Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC)

Understanding protein-ligand interactions is pivotal for accelerating lead identification and structure guided lead optimisation. Our structural biology & biophysical screening platform supports target-based drug discovery projects at EDDC. Protein crystallography is used to determine high-resolution structures of proteins and ligand binding conformations. Using a proprietary library and a cascade of biophysical techniques, EDDC’s Fragment Based Screening platform is consistently able to find ligand efficient fragment hits against targets in the oncology and infectious disease space.
