Meet The Teams

Asset Lifecycle Management (ALCM)

The Asset Lifecycle Management team leverages digitalisation to ensure visibility, accessibility, and ecosystem-wide sharing of high-value scientific equipment.

By integrating data analytics, the team facilitates equipment usage charging and enables data-driven decision-making for efficient asset lifecycle management.

Our initiatives include the A*STAR Scientific Equipment Asset Lifecycle Management Program and innovative solutions such as the Datacube program, which integrates People, Processes, and Tools. These efforts enable:

  • Easy access to equipment through the A*STAR Scientific Equipment Finder (A*SEF).
  • Utilisation tracking for equipment owners and central management via the PPMS system.
  • Data analysis and reporting through the Scientific Equipment Dashboard to support sustainable asset management decisions.
