National Shared Platforms

Enables On-demand Access to Advanced Instrumentation and Scientific Services

National Shared Platforms are supported with co-funding from the National Research Foundation (NRF). These technology platforms which include Immunomonitoring Service Platform (ISP), SingaScope, SingMass and Translational Pathology Consortium (TPC).

Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) hosts a state-of-the-art Immunomonitoring (IM) platform with an integrated suite of capabilities including: (i) Flow Cytometry;  (ii) Multiplex Analysis of Proteins; (iii) Computational ImmunologyWith applications in immune profiling, biomarker discovery, target identification, vaccine assessment, patient treatment stratification and clinical trial monitoring, the SIgN IM platform has more than 130 successful partnerships and over 1,164 scientific publications since 2007 (as of 2019)...Find out more

SingaScope – a Singapore-wide microscopy infrastructure network brings together Singapore’s leading microscopy platforms to enable access to excellent instrumentation and expertise for Singapore’s research community. SingaScope combines the AHSTAR Microscopy Platform with platforms at the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI) and Centre for Bioimaging Sciences (CBIS) in NUS, the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) at NTU, and SingHealth...Find out more

Singapore National Laboratory for Mass Spectrometry (SingMass) comprises three mass spectrometry centres with complementary expertise, (i) The Protein and Proteomics Centre (PPC at NUS); (ii) The Functional Proteomics Laboratory (FPL at AHSTAR) and (iii) The Singapore Lipidomics Incubator (SLING at NUS)covering proteomics, small molecule analysis and structural mass spectrometry. Each centre has specific areas of expertise that will be combined into a coordinated unit that addresses the need for mass spectrometry solutions and synergizes the combined unique MS expertise...Find out more

The Translational Pathology Consortium is a nation-wide platform incorporating clinical, academic and industrial entities that bridge the gaps in Singapore’s scientific and biomedical ecosystem. Advanced Molecular Pathology Lab (AMPL) is one such arm and is the only GLP-certified laboratory in Singapore that provides histopathology, in-vitro and in-vivo toxico-pathology services to support the researchers in AHSTAR RIs, universities, pharmaceutical companies and CROs...Find out more
