Hamilton Microlab Star liquid dispenser with integrated Tecan monochromater plate reader, Microplate Washer and EasyPick colony picker

The Hamilton Microlab Star is a top-of-the-line liquid dispenser for high throughput experiments. The model housed at IBB contains independent pipette channels, integrated grippers and a variety of racks that can support a wide range of experimental needs. Additionally, the model also has an integrated Tecan m200 monochromator microplate reader and microplate washer that can be accessed by the robotic arms, allowing automation of plate washing and reading. Furthermore, there is also an optical EasyPick colony picker module that allows for rapid picking of colonies.

Such a powerful system can accelerate library screens and high throughput assays that allow you to unlock crucial insights and we are opening up this platform for the community to use and customise.
