Translational Pathology Consortium (TPC)

The Translational Pathology Consortium is a nation-wide platform incorporating clinical, academic and industrial entities that bridges the gaps in Singapore’s scientific and biomedical ecosystem. Advanced Molecular Pathology Lab (AMPL), IMCB functioning under TPC is one such arm and is  the only GLP-certified laboratory in Singapore that provides histopathology, in-vitro and in-vivo toxico-pathology services to support the researchers in A*STAR RIs, Universities, pharmaceutical companies and CROs.

It provides high-quality and timely data using cutting-edge technology to support the academic and industrial research. It is also the primary provider of diagnostic pathology services for veterinary clinics and hospitals in Singapore. In partnership with biobanks in TTSH, SingHealth and NUHS, the platform has access to patient material, technical expertise from IMCB and NUS, and industrial partnership of companies from MiRXES to support biomarker discovery and precision medicine. In partnership with companies like Invitrocue and Aimaginostic, it aims to develop consultative telepathology services. The addition of new partners is designed to enhance its industry-facing character.
