Collaborative Translational Unit (CTU) for Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) from Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) provides virucidal activity testing with a focus on testing on different materials, chemicals, and products provided by companies to test against emerging viruses such as Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika and Enteroviruses. Led by Associate Professor Justin Chu, who holds a joint appointment as Principal Investigator in the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, and as faculty member in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, A/P Chu is also the director of the largest research based high containment Biosafety Level 3 Facility in Singapore which is located in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. |
